4 Ways to wear headscarves this fall
Alright, I know that headscarves were all the rage this summer, but I’m not ready to let them go yet! I still have no idea why I love them so much, yet here we are. I’ve collected quite a few that fit more in line with my fall style. Instead of just throwing them up in a pony tail, I’ve added three new styles that are going to be part of my headscarf hairstyle agenda!
The Standard Ponytail
I think this is probably the easiest option to wear a headscarf. You can wear your ponytail as high or low as you want it. I usually wear mine quite high, but I think they look gorgeous lower as well! Brush your hair into the ponytail of your choice, secure with a hair tie, and add your scarf. If you want it to be extra secure, you can loop one of the ends through the hair tie which is my secret weapon!
To be honest, this is probably my least favorite. Either my head is too large, or my hair is too big. This is incredibly simple to do though! Take your headscarf and place it underneath your hair, then take the two ends and tie them together at the top. You can also twist it around and have them tie underneath your hair if you like to wear your headscarves that way better.
Half up, Half Down
This is another one of my favorite ways to wear headscarves right now. Majority of the time, I have my hair down, so this is kind of the best of both worlds for me. I separate my hair right at the line wear my ear is, and then I’ll either throw the hair in a simple pony, or I’ll do a loose bun. Then, I secure the headscarf just like I did in the standard ponytail! Correct me if I’m wrong, but I get some solid Parisian vibes with this one!
If you are having a not so great hair day, then this is a great one to do. Start by putting your hair into a bun. Like the ponytail, this can be as high or low as you want it. With the bun, you have multiple options for your headscarves. You can either leave the ends long, or you can wrap the ends to surround the bun. I switch it up, but I usually wrap the headscarf a few times around the bun.
