So, I was in desperate need for a new shelf. At first, I did not really care about what it looked like because it was mainly just for utility. After I assembled the shelf, I realized that it was definitely not going with the vibe of the rest of my apartment. I’ve had some removable wallpaper floating around my house for seriously, about a year! While I was doing some work, I stumbled across it and realized it was exactly what I needed! I picked up the shelf from Amazon, grabbed some spray paint, wallpaper, and I went to town! The best thing about this DIY shelf makeover is that it is incredibly affordable, and takes less than thirty minutes to assemble too!
- Find a shelf that suits your needs. It can be as big or small as you want it to be! The best thing about this project is that the shelf can be less than desirable, and it won’t matter!
- Find a paint color that works the best in your home or apartment. I picked a champagne gold because honestly, I have a ton of gold already in my house, and I was beginning to feel like King Midas.
- Take a removable wallpaper of your choice. I picked mine up at Target, but these can easily be found anywhere right now. This dalmatian-esque print really spoke to me.
