Fenty Beauty has literally been everywhere, and it is taking over our beauty cabinets. Even though I was not trampling over the mall walkers to get to Sephora, it has proven to be a brand that I stand behind. After my love for the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, I figured it was time to try out the Fenty Beauty Match Stix. Since stick formulations are usually not my go to, I decided just to try out one. So, did this product live up to the Fenty Beauty name? Let’s talk.
Fenty Beauty Match Stix
Alright, so, if you are as pale as I am, then you know the contour struggle. Not only can I look orange if I choose the wrong product, but I can also look like I should work at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. I’ve heard so much about the Fenty Beauty Match Stix, and figured a contour stick was not just a great option, but it was also something that I wanted in my routine. I also wish that I could say I looked into the product and researched it before I went to Sephora, but I didn’t. I usually just shop off of a whim. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised this time.
One aspect of Fenty Beauty that I love is how inclusive the brand is. Even in the Fenty Beauty Match Stix, there is still twenty shades available. There are options to contour, conceal, and highlight. You can also find matte shades, as well as shades with more shimmer to them. I am all about options! The packaging is also the best shade of pink, and is gorgeous. If you get more than one stick, the packaging is actually magnetic so that all of yours can stay together inside your makeup bag! As always, Fenty Beauty is completely cruelty free!
Will it work for you?
The best part about this product is how easy it is to use. Not only does it feel like nothing is on your skin, but it looks amazingly natural too. To be quite honest with you, I feel like this product looks more realistic on me than anything I have tried in the past. I can use a light hand for every day makeup, or I can really stack it on for some dramatic contour. The shade Amber could be used for multiple skin tones as well. There is pretty much not a tinge of orange in this product, it is pretty much grey. I also love the cool tones in this product as well. Even though I have a pretty strong pink undertone, this works so well for me.

While the price may be considered high for just one stick, a little goes such a long way. Fenty Beauty also has this product to purchase in a trio. You can pick a trio that fits your skintone, or just buy what you want! One stick runs you about $25 at Sephora, and a trio will run you $75. I highly suggest getting the trio if you are considering purchasing more than one. Also, you can design your own trio on the Fenty Beauty website if the trios aren’t your cup of tea. In summary, is this product worth it? Absolutely. It is easy to use, insanely blendable, and I think it can cover a wide variety of skintones as well.
Have you tried any of the Fenty Beauty products? What are your favorites?
