Lush Christmas Picks 2018
Christmas time is my favorite time of the year when it comes to Lush. They really nail the holiday scents, and everything is really cute. I used to be a serious Lush fanatic, but have evolved into a strictly seasonal type of girl. This is mostly because there are no Lush stores near me, Chattanooga, can we fix that?! In honor of it being my absolute favorite time of year, I placed an order to get some new Lush Christmas goodies!
I’m going to start off and say that Lord of Misrule is my absolute favorite product that Lush makes. Whenever it is in stock, I order tons of them. I have a serious love for patchouli, and this is packed full of it. It also makes your water wine colored which really reminds me of mulled wine, which reminds me of the holidays! Sticking to the Lush Christmas bath bombs, next are three of their two pack sets for the holidays. The only bad thing about ordering online is that sometimes they arrive not in great shape, and this happened with my Santa and Princess bath bombs. Luckily, my Snowman came in pretty good shape, but I mean…they are all going into the bath anyway. These three come with two bath bombs in each but have unique scents. Santa has a scent similar to cola but doesn’t smell sickly sweet. Snowman has a strong spearmint smell which will be great for clearing out your sinuses. Princess has hints of Cedarwood and Bergamot. Pretty much anything with Bergamot is relevant to my interests.
Once again, it wouldn’t be a Lush Christmas shop without getting Butterbear. My skin loves how conditioning this bath bomb is, and the vanilla and ylang-ylang are amazing! Again, definitely had an issue with the shipment on the Cheery Christmas, but she will survive. This has a berry scent, and apparently is a brand new scent to Lush! World’s Smallest Disco is the next on the list, and this is really fun! It smells like citrus but has a bit of warmth to it. The base is black, but has a lot of colors that look amazing in the bath! The last Lush Christmas bath bomb is Holey Night. Shockingly, this is more floral scented that I imagined it would be. It also has soy milk which makes this a really creamy bath!
Odds & Ends
A few years ago, Lush had Cinders bath bomb which is still my favorite Christmas product they have ever come out with. I picked up this Cinders Shower Gel in hopes that it would be the same scent. To my dismay, it is not the one that I loved, but it definitely smells like the holidays. If you enjoy clove and orange, you’ll love this. Candy Cane is their reusable bubble bar for this collection and actually has a sweet smell. To be honest with you, I think this should have been minty, or a scent similar to Twisted Peppermint from Bath & Body Works. Next is Naughty Elf which came broken, unfortunately. Once again, this has a more floral smell than I actually expected it to have, but I do prefer it over Candy Cane. To finish off my Lush Christmas collection, we have the Snowflake Bubble Spinner. This has a great scent to it and features patchouli, which may be why I like it so much. This is the first bubble spinner that I have purchased, and I’m really looking forward to trying it out!
