Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer
As you might know, I recently took a nose dive into the Charlotte Tilbury makeup range. Boy, was I glad I did. The Bar of Gold Trio has become a necessity in my wardrobe, and I seem to like it more and more. While I was browsing Sephora, I stumbled upon the Magic Away Concealer. You may recall that I have been testing tons of concealers lately, and this definitely ranks among the best I’ve tried lately. So, after testing this out over the past few weeks, is it a must have?

Lets talk about the component aspect of this product first. If you are familiar with the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, then you will be familiar with this type of applicator. It is a sponge tip applicator that has the product come through that applicator. While I am a huge fan of the Maybelline product, the sanitary levels of this sort of item make me really nervous. It does apply beautifully, but there needs to be some blending after it applies.
What makes this concealer a need in your makeup bag?
I was honestly surprised by the Magic Away Concealer when I used it the first couple times! It contains Persian Silk Tree Park Extract which helps the concealer stretch and move with your skin. This makes it cover like crazy, and it really does. It is almost like a second layer of skin that covers everything you want it to. Your wrinkles, dark circles, and any other imperfections are pretty much gone with this product. If you read my post about the YSL All Hours Concealer, then you know how much I loved the coverage of that product. Imagine something covering this well, but acting more like a second skin, it’s insane!
I cannot emphasize this enough, it looks really natural, and it even feels like nothing is on your skin too. With this coverage comes an additional light reflecting property which makes your under-eyes really bright, which I think we all want, right?! I wore this in some tough conditions for any sort of concealer, and it never moved, and looked just as great in photos at the beginning of the day as it did at the end of the day. It also never settles into my fine lines or wrinkles, and can even be layered without caking up!
My final thoughts:
In comparison to the concealers I have tried recently, it is really on par with the YSL concealer that I have been obsessed with lately. The Magic Away Concealer comes in sixteen shades which is better than some of the foundation ranges that I have been trying out! Personally, for a higher end concealer, $32 seems within a fair range, and especially since this performs as well as it does. Overall, if you have been on the market for concealers, then I highly suggest giving this one a try. If you are a fan of the Maybelline Age Rewind, then I think you’ll really love this!
