Skincare is the one thing that I take seriously. I’m constantly trying to find the best new thing out there. Unless you are living under a rock, then you know about my serious obsession with water creams. While browsing the Sephora site the other day, I noticed the Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream. Is this product as good as the other water creams on the market? What is Saturday Skin all about? Let’s talk…
Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream
First off, let’s talk about the obvious. This packaging is enough to sell it to me. I love the unique packaging of each container, and I love the color combination even more. Something about that millennial pink really speaks to me. Before trying this product, I had no interaction with Saturday Skin at all. Mainly because I had been in committed relationship with what I was currently using. After my beloved Tatcha Water Cream ran out, I decided to try a new one. This is not the first one that I saw, but my strong curiosity about the brand is what ultimately lead to my purchase decision. Saturday Skin works with your skin to regenerate the youthfulness, and block free radicals from moving in.
It contains Alaskan glacier water, Xpertmoist (which is meant to protect your skin from dehydration), Iceland moss (great to calm skin), and their featured Cha-7 es Complex. This patented concentration fights seven signs of aging! Hello! Like with all moisturizers, this is meant to provide excellent hydration to not only enrich your skin, but to protect it from the harsh environment that our skin faces everyday. Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream is also suitable for all skin types which is always great news! It also contains no fragrance or additional color!
That’s great, but should it be in your beauty closet?
So far, I have had absolutely nothing bad to say about this product. It is half the price of my regular moisturizer, and that is pretty great. I love that it does not have any fragrance, and it seems to get along with my skin quite well. Since Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream has more of a gel-like consistency, it feels cooling on the skin. Right now, that is such a huge factor! It is so hot where I live. It reminds me more of my Dior Jelly Sleeping Mask in texture, but feels much lighter on the skin. I sometimes deal with break outs from changing an item in my routine, and I have not dealt with that so far, yay!
