Eyebrows are all the rage right now
I honestly have no idea what I did before I began filling in my eyebrows a few years back! Even when I was younger, eyebrow were not really a big deal, and I used to think my grandmother was weird for filling hers in. Once I began filling in my eyebrows, it took me years to find something that I would consider a “holy grail product”. I thought I had struck gold with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz once I found it. After I had ran out of it for the millionth time, I decided to get back on the hunt! This is when I gave the Revlon eyebrow pencil a try! I’m not talking about anything but the Revlon ColorStay Brow Pencil, FYI!
You’re probably asking, how does a Revlon eyebrow pencil shake up my makeup routine?
Glad you asked! Not only do I find the formulas pretty similar in texture, but the packaging is quite similar as well. What I loved about the ABH was how great it felt in my hand, and how easy it was to use as a novice brow gal. Well, I’m here to let you know that the Revlon eyebrow pencil gives me all of the same feelings. Also, it is like one-third the price, and available pretty much anywhere that Revlon is sold. People around where I live must agree with me since it is commonly out of stock! There are certain stores that you can even get it for cheaper than around $7!

There are a few differences in the overall packaging, but it works the same! I find the tip small enough to have ultimate control over how my brows look. The formula is also easily buildable, and can be as soft or intense as you want it to be. I find the finish to be really natural, and takes me just a few minutes to apply, and I’m pretty much always happy with the results. I use the shade blonde, which is a great shade match for my red hair.
But wait, there’s more!
The Revlon eyebrow pencil also comes with a brush on the end to soften up any harsh lines, and is a great little spoolie! Even if I use different brow products, this is still the brush that I use to sort them out. I’ve repurchased this product about seven or eight times (no joke), and love it just as much as I did the first time I ever used it. It lasts quite a long time even when wet, and only comes off when I want it to. As far as I know, this comes in five or six different shades, and seems like it could work with pretty much anyone! luckily, I don’t have that overly waxy vibe with this product.
It can be a little soft at first, and I typically just leave the lid off of it for about a day, and then it turns into the perfect texture for me. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it brand new though! So, if you are looking for something that is more accessible than the ABH, or any other more luxurious brow products, pick this up on your next trip to Target! (FYI, It’s less than $5 bucks right now!)
