With old age has come this love for luxury makeup. Maybe it was because my first luxury handbag was YSL, but they have a really soft spot in my heart. After running out of my favorite concealer of all time, I was feeling risqué. The YSL All Hours Concealer has been on my radar for quite a while now, and we finally took the plunge. So, is it worth it?
YSL All Hours Concealer
I’m kind of a luxury beauty fanatic at times. Spending a bit of extra money on something that has been amazing for others never really shocks me. What drew me into this concealer is that it actually works as a corrector as well. I’ve never been super into color-correcting, but when it comes to beauty products, I never say no! The YSL All Hours Concealer is marketed as a full coverage concealer. It also is meant to blur out dark circles, redness, discoloration, and a ton of other flaws that you may not like. I think I’ve mentioned the super hot weather a few times on this blog by now. This concealer resists fading, heat, humidity, and touch. So even though I may be on the verge of overheating, at least it will still cover my dark circles!
This is a sixteen-hour wear concealer, but I am never one for wearing my makeup that long. The YSL All Hours Concealer comes in eleven shades, but it definitely has room for improvement if you ask me. I would much rather prefer that a brand includes everyone. I have seen some babes with darker complexions being able to make this work though. While this is a pretty heavy concealer, it definitely doesn’t feel heavy. I actually don’t even notice that it is on when I wear it, which is a huge deal for concealer.
How does it compare to my favorite?
So, if you didn’t know, the Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer is my favorite. It matches perfectly, feels amazing, never settles into fine lines, and seriously provides some coverage! I know, I’m not even sure why I felt the need to venture out myself. Don’t worry though, I have good news. I really enjoy the YSL All Hours Concealer! Similar to my old fave, this has an incredibly creamy texture that looks gorgeous on the skin. It provides the coverage I need without settling into any fine lines. Also, it has lasted full days so far! It has a soft matte finish, which makes it look as natural as makeup can look on your skin too. To be completely honest, this has changed my makeup game! Not only does it feel like there is nothing on my skin, but it looks like there is nothing too! This gives me the look that I have slept for the past ten years.

Since this is a full coverage concealer, the $34 price tag is justified to me. Part of that cost is also coming from the brand in which you buy it from as well. YSL is one of my favorite beauty brands, and one that gets me excited to try out. I mainly use this as an under eye concealer, but it works for all areas of my face as well. A little goes a long way for me! The packaging is also as gorgeous as you can imagine it to be. I love the feeling of a nice quality product, and this one doesn’t let you down. If you are in the market for a new concealer, then you absolutely have to give the YSL All Hours Concealer a try!
