Yeah, I know…another foundation. Foundation is one of my favorite parts of my makeup routine, and some of my favorite brands just keep pumping them out! The newest addition to the beauty drawers is the YSL Touche Eclat All-In-One Glow. This is different from a traditional foundation, and it has served me pretty well. Keep reading to find out what I think
YSL Touche Eclat All-In-One Glow
While this is considered a “foundation”, it is more like a tinted moisturizer. It is an extremely light coverage compared to my Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir, or my Fenty Beauty Foundation. If you are looking for something more lightweight, then this might be where you need to be. The product is 50% water, and has hyaluronic acid in at as well. This makes it incredibly moisturizing, and pretty comfortable to wear as well. I have combination skin, and have not had any wear problems with this product.
Like it states in the title, it is a foundation that will give you a glow. After this product dried down, it was more like a satin finish on my skin. It dried down even further to more of a matte finish, but with a slight sheen, emphasis on the slight. I do think it is beneficial to wear a moisturizer under this or any face product, just throwing that out there. If you need a new moisturizer, get the Tatcha Water Cream, seriously. Plus, it has a water like texture, it has to work well together, right?
What is it going to do for you?
Glad you asked! This is going to pretty much even out your skin-tone. It is going to look like your skin, pretty much. This was very easy to blend, and did not settle into any of my fine lines at all, which is honestly great! I have been having some slight issues with that recently, and it was nice to know that was not an issue. It also has Vitamin E which helps to fight free radicals, and that helps with anti-aging. It also has an SPF 23 which makes it a must have for these upcoming warmer months! Oh, and did I mention that this has a pump?! Yes!

Overall, I do love the product, and I think it will be a summer staple for me. It gives me the coverage that I expect for this product, and it makes my skin look great. I can get slightly more coverage, so it is buildable to an extent. There is not much of a chance of you building this up to a medium or full coverage, but you will be able to cover a blemish hear and there. This comes in 12 shades, so it does not have a great range. I won’t go into that part of it…. One thing I will say is that I found the staying power of this product really well. This has worn while I was out running errands, walking around Disney World, and out with the girls.
What is your favorite summer product?
