Netflix Must See’s | October 2018!
I’m not usually one for many of the Netflix originals, if I’m honest. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of the true crime docu-series, and I’ll never be able to get over Orange is the New Black or Stranger Things. This October, they are dropping new series every single day! How do you know what to watch? These are my Netflix Must See list for October!
1. Malevolent ( October 5th)
Honestly, I’m still not over watching this! If you like supernatural thrillers, then this is the movie for you. It also has some frightening children in it which add to the chill factor. The beginning was a little slow, but it really picks up, and I might have left a light on that night. No joke!
2. Feminists: What Were They Thinking? (October 12th)
I’m all about girl power, and I have a feeling you might be too! Instead of talking about what we are currently doing for the women’s movement, this documentary goes into the past. It goes into the 1970s, and talks to some of the activists from that time. It follows the book by the same name, and has some amazing interviews as well!
3. The Haunting of Hill House (October 12th)
If you have watched the trailer for this, then you know what it is about! It is another remake of the famous Shirley Jackson novel. Unlike previous remakes in the past, this is actually going to be a series of ten episodes that we can watch (or binge!) just before Halloween this year. This is going to take place in the past and the present to really get us involved.
4. Making a Murderer Part 2 (October 19th)
I’ve been so wrapped up in this case since watching the first season. True crime is basically my kryptonite, and I almost freaked out when I found out the release date was so close! If you haven’t heard about the case of Steven Avery, then you really need to catch up! This is one of the most ridiculous cases against someone, and I’m hoping they prove his innocence! This is probably my number one Netflix must see!
5. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (October 26th)
I am actually an eighties baby, so I am beyond ready for this! Sabrina the Teenage Witch was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. I even watched the animated version! This Netflix must see promises us a spookier version of the beloved show, and comes right in time for a Halloween binge party!
What are you excited to watch on Netflix this month?
