Too Faced Sweet Smell Of Christmas Set

Too Faced Sweet Smell Of Christmas Mini Melted Liquid Lip Set

When it comes to holiday collections, I really love Too Faced. As someone who usually goes over the top with Christmas, their packaging definitely grabs my attention. I recently talked about the Under the Christmas Tree set, and have been testing the Too Faced Sweet Smell Of Christmas for the past few weeks. This set is $25 for four lipsticks, and would be an amazing stocking stuffer for any makeup lover!

What is in the set?

You get four shades of their melted liquid lips, but these are unique shades (and scents!) dedicated to the Christmas season. I will say that these are deluxe mini lip sets, so keep that in mind. You aren’t getting a full product, but it is definitely more than enough to use multiple times. The Too Faced Sweet Smell Of Christmas also contains Volulip which is a no sting formula that is meant to plump and smooth your lips. To be honest, I didn’t notice any sort of plumping. One thing I can say is that it is incredibly lightweight, and it lasted forever! I wore this for Halloween, and the liquid lip never moved!

Additionally, this formula contains avocado oil, Vitamin E, and hyaluronic spheres which provide moisturize to your skin. I did find that my lips seemed full and moisturized, which might be the plumping effect they were talking about. Personally, I don’t consider something providing moisture to my lips plumping. The finish is incredibly opaque and matte. The Too Faced Sweet Smell Of Christmas literally glided on my lips like butter, and has made me interested in trying more of the main collection.

Too Faced Sweet Smell Of Christmas Shade Breakdown

All of these shades have a scent that is unique to them. Sugar Cookie smells like a cookie, and I will say that  the scents do not have that artificial smell which I appreciated. There is also a shade called Gingerbread Girl which is limited edition as part of the holiday collection as well. In my opinion, these shades are quite suitable for the season, and are shades that I tend to lean toward when it comes to cooler months.

Sugar Cookie: Rosey Nude

Pumpkin Spice: Rosey Brown with a tinge of Orange

Hot Buttered Rum: Caramel Nude

Cinnamon Brown: Warm Red

I love the colors but totally can’t do scented!! It weirdly makes me hungrier!! Do these shades come in a non-scented version?

As far as I know, these are limited edition for the holidays. They have some similar colors, but none exact. You should check out Sell Out, Suck It, Lady Balls, Cool Girl, or Child Star from the Melted Matte collection. Those seem to be the most similar to these colors. As for the Melted Liquified Lipsticks, Melted Chocolate Milkshake, Melted Ruby, and Melted Nude would be great alternatives!

It’s gorgeous! Hot buttered rum is my favorite, sugar cookie is a close second. The smell of sugar cookie is DIVINE though!
